Hujra Renovation

This project focuses on the renovation of a traditional hujra, thoughtfully reimagined to enhance comfort, functionality, and visual appeal while respecting its cultural essence. The design balances simplicity and refinement, creating a welcoming communal space suitable for gatherings and everyday use. Alongside the renovation, a carefully planned landscape design was developed, combining both hard and soft landscaping elements. Hardscape features define circulation, seating areas, and structure, while soft landscaping introduces greenery that adds freshness, shade, and a natural sense of calm. Together, these elements create a harmonious indoor–outdoor connection. The result is a well-balanced renovation that preserves the spirit of the hujra while elevating it through modern design sensibilities and a cohesive landscape environment.
